There has been growing talk about a possible IPO for SpaceX, and I’m not going to lie, this is one of the few companies that has my full attention. Nothing is official yet but if SpaceX does finally go public it could easily become one of the biggest IPOs the world has ever seen. We are talking about a company that has changed the way people look at space travel, technology, and even communication.

For people who may not know, SpaceX was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk. The goal was simple but sounded impossible at the time…. make space travel cheaper and eventually help humans live on other planets. A lot of people laughed at the idea back then. Fast forward to today, and SpaceX has become one of the most important companies on the planet.

The company made history by creating reusable rockets. That may not sound exciting at first, but it changed the entire game. Before SpaceX, rockets were mostly used once and then destroyed. SpaceX figured out how to land rockets and reuse them, cutting costs in a major way. That helped the company work with NASA and send astronauts into space. They also launched the Starlink satellite network, which now provides internet service across many parts of the world.

Recently, SpaceX has continued to dominate headlines. The company keeps testing Starship, which is designed to become the most powerful rocket ever built. Even when tests fail, the company learns quickly and keeps moving forward. That matters because the world is now in a new space race. Countries and companies are competing for technology, communication, defense systems, and future space exploration. SpaceX is right in the middle of all of it. SpaceX has reportedly already filed confidential IPO paperwork with the SEC and recently made portions of its filing public. Multiple major financial outlets are reporting that the IPO process is officially underway. We could see this coming in June.

This is why many people believe a SpaceX IPO could become the biggest IPO ever. The value of the company has already been discussed in the hundreds of billions, and some experts believe it could eventually reach over a trillion dollars. If that happens, investors everywhere will be paying attention.

And honestly, I think people should at least be prepared. If SpaceX becomes publicly traded, it is expected to appear across major trading platforms like Robinhood, Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Webull, and others. That is why I personally would not wait until the last minute to set up an investing account or learn how the market works.

Now let me say this clearly. Investing always comes with risks. Nothing is guaranteed. Stocks go up and down every day. But sometimes opportunities come along that people remember for decades. A lot of people look back and wish they had invested in companies like Amazon, Apple, NAVIDA, or Tesla earlier.

I also know people have strong feelings about Elon Musk. Some love him. Some cannot stand him. But this is where I personally try to remove politics and emotion from the conversation. At the end of the day, this is business. Elon has built companies that changed industries. Tesla changed electric vehicles. SpaceX changed the space industry. Starlink is changing the internet. Whether people agree with him personally or not the results are hard to ignore.

For me, I want to focus on winning teams and long term opportunities. If SpaceX finally launches its IPO, I plan on paying very close attention and investing myself. The company is already shaping the future, and this could be one of those moments people talk about years from now.
