As an Atlanta Falcons fan, I’ve been through the highs, the lows, and everything in between. But this season? This was supposed to be our year. We came in with promise, with hope. Yet, here we are again, feeling the same old frustrations. Let me just say, if my words sound a little over the top, it’s because I’m frustrated. I’m exhausted. And I’m questioning whether anyone on this team is actually trying.

Let’s start with Younghoe Koo. I don’t even recognize the kicker we have right now. Koo used to be the guy we could always count on when it came to clutch moments. He was consistent, calm under pressure, and reliable. But now? Missed field goals are piling up, and it’s KILLING US! I get that he’s dealing with a hip injury, but if you’re on the field, you have to deliver or get him off the field coach!. Field goals win games, and right now, Koo isn’t winning us anything.

And then, there’s Kirk Cousins. Where do I even begin? We brought this guy in with the hope he’d lead us to something special. Instead, he’s out here throwing interceptions like it’s his hobby. Four picks in the loss to the Chargers. Four. That’s inexcusable. The offense can’t find any rhythm because every time it seems like we’re moving forward, Cousins sets us back. Fans are calling for rookie Michael Penix Jr., and honestly, I can’t blame them. At this point, why not give the kid a shot? What do we have to lose….?

But let’s not forget Raheem Morris. I’ve got to ask… What’s the plan here? Week after week, we see the same problems, and nothing changes. I appreciate loyalty, but sticking with Cousins when he’s playing like this? It’s maddening. Where’s the accountability? Where’s the fire? Raheem came in with a reputation as a leader who could bring out the best in his players, but right now, I’m not seeing it. The team looks uninspired, unprepared, and frankly, uninterested. That falls on the coach.

This isn’t just about the players. It’s about the culture. This team is so inconsistent, and it’s driving fans like me up the wall. One week, we show flashes of brilliance. The next, we’re back to making the same old mistakes. s?

Look, I’ll admit that some of what I’m saying might come off harsh. Maybe I’m letting my emotions get the better of me. But I’ve been a fan for too long to sit here quietly while this team wastes another season. This was supposed to be our year. We’ve got talent. We’ve got potential. But potential doesn’t mean anything if you don’t capitalize on it. Right now, it feels like no one’s trying, and that’s the most infuriating part of all.

That said, the season isn’t over yet. As much as I’m frustrated, there’s still time to turn things around. Next week, we’ve got a big fight ahead, and if this team has any pride, they’ll show up ready to prove us all wrong. I want to believe. I need to believe. But they’ve got to give me a reason. The clock is ticking, Falcons. It’s now or never. Let’s rise up.
