When the news of Hulk Hogan’s passing hit, my heart sank. If you know me, you know I’m a big wrestling fan and this one hurts more than I can put into words. Honestly, I had a hard time even typing this post. The moment my phone lit up with the news, it blew up with messages from friends and family checking in on me. I truly appreciate all of you. That’s how much Hulk Hogan meant, not just to wrestling, but to the people who grew up watching him.

Hulk Hogan wasn’t just a wrestler he was the wrestling star. He was larger than life, the guy who made professional wrestling cool before it was mainstream. Hulkamania wasn’t just a catchphrase it was a movement. Kids everywhere were ripping their shirts, cupping their hands to their ears, and yelling, “Whatcha gonna do, brother?” because of him. He made wrestling feel special and powerful.

For those who may not know, Hulk Hogan started making waves in the early 80s with the WWF (now WWE). His charisma and energy turned him into a household name. He headlined the very first WrestleMania in 1985 and became the face of wrestling during its biggest boom. Movies, TV shows, cartoons you name it, Hogan was everywhere. He wasn’t just a wrestler he was a pop culture icon.

Yes, I know Hulk Hogan had his fair share of controversies in recent years. I’m not blind to that. But one thing I can’t ignore is how much he always cared about his fans. No matter what, Hogan made you believe in the power of “training, saying your prayers, and eating your vitamins.” He wanted us to feel like we could overcome anything.

I can only hope Hogan somehow sees the outpouring of love and support he’s getting right now. Hulk, if you’re looking down on us, just know we miss you, we love you, and we thank you for the memories. Hulkamania will always run wild in the hearts of fans like me.

This hurts because Hulk Hogan was the guy who got so many of us hooked on wrestling. He’s the reason a lot of kids from my generation believed in heroes. He’s the reason I love wrestling to this day. It feels like a part of my childhood is gone, but at the same time, I know the Hulkster will never truly leave us. His matches, his promos, and his legacy will live on forever.

So, here’s my message to you, Hulk…. Thank you for being the hero so many of us needed. You inspired millions of fans to believe in something bigger. You were the ultimate good guy, the larger than-life champion who made wrestling what it is today.

We’ll keep the spirit of Hulkamania alive. We’ll keep the memories alive. And no matter what, Hulk Hogan will live forever.

Rest in peace….my brother.
