This season as a Falcons fan has been a tough pill to swallow. I’ve been a diehard Falcons supporter for as long as I can remember, and that’s not changing anytime soon. But as much as I love my team I have to be honest about where we’re at. This season was rough, and I think a lot of us are feeling the frustration.
We started out with a bit of hope…maybe it was just me being overly optimistic, but there was a glimpse of something good at the beginning. As the season went on, though it felt like the wheels just fell off. We tried different things but it’s clear that we can’t blame everything on the coaches. Sure, there’ve been coaching adjustments and maybe some of them needed time to settle in. But at this point, it might be time to take a hard look at the roster, the players, and maybe even how we’re building the team.
I’m not saying I have all the answers. I don’t…. But as a fan it feels like we’ve been swapping coaches and making big changes too fast for the past decade. Consistency is key in any organization, and we need to give some of these people time to get things in order before we hit the reset button again…I guess
The truth is, a lot of fans are fed up. It’s not just about the coaches..it’s about the players on the field, the discipline, and the consistency. We’ve had issues all over the place… kicking problems, quarterback struggles, blown coverages, dropped passes. Maybe it’s a lack of discipline, or maybe it’s just bad luck. Whatever it is, it’s got to change!
We want to see some stability, some smart changes, and a team that fights.
