Alright, folks, here we go. If you told me a year ago that TNA Impact Wrestling would be back in the big leagues, I might have thought you were dreaming. But here we are, and it’s real…. TNA has landed a major TV deal, and it’s like a phoenix rising from the ashes of wrestling history.
Let’s rewind a bit. TNA, once a strong contender in the wrestling world, hit some rough times. They started strong, they had big TV deals, then they lost them, then they bounced around with smaller networks, and people basically counted them out. It was like watching a favorite underdog slowly fade away.
But just when everyone thought TNA was done for, they pulled a swerve that no one saw coming. Enter WWE….. Now, this is where it gets interesting because TNA’s new partnership with WWE has basically changed the game. Suddenly, TNA has got a major platform again, and that means a whole new level of competition for everyone else….especially AEW.
For the longest time, AEW was kind of seen as the clear number two wrestling company out there, the main alternative to WWE. But now, TNA is roaring back into the picture. This deal is a huge wake up call for AEW because now there’s another big player in town. It’s like the wrestling world just got a lot more interesting.
Now, are there questions? Absolutely. Does WWE have some kind of ownership stake? What happens if WWE steps back? Well, those are things we’ll have to watch unfold. But for now, the bottom line is that TNA is back in a big way, and that’s huge news for wrestling fans everywhere.
In terms of where TNA is heading, they’ve officially struck a deal with AMC Networks. That means starting January 15, 2026, TNA’s flagship show, Thursday Night iMPACT! will air live every Thursday from 9–11 p.m. Eastern on AMC and stream on AMC+. The first big live event will kick off at the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, Texas. This marks TNA’s grand return to major cable TV after over a decade, and it’s a huge leap forward in getting their action packed show back in front of a big audience.
