I kept seeing people all over social media doing this new ChatGPT trend where you upload your photo and ask AI to create a caricature based on your life and career. At first, I just laughed and kept scrolling. But after seeing it over and over and one of my buddies convincing me I finally said, “Alright, let me jump in on this too.”

So I uploaded a picture and told ChatGPT to create a caricature of me and my job based on everything it knows about me.

The result honestly surprised me. It wasn’t just a cartoon version of my face. It looked like a full poster of my life.

And the cool part? When I really looked at it, I understood why the AI made the choices it did.

First, it leaned heavy into my firefighter career. That makes sense. A big part of my life is the fire department. Long shifts, responding to calls, training, and taking care of my crew are things I talk about a lot. So ChatGPT put me in firefighter gear, added fire scenes, trucks, and all the action that comes with the job. That part felt right because firefighting has been a big part of who I am since I was 13 years old.

Next, it showed me as more of a leader than just a firefighter. The helmet in the picture had leadership vibes, and there were little details like checklists and command style elements in the background. When ChatGPT explained it, it said it picked up on how much I talk about leadership, training, and responsibility. I’m always thinking about how to make a difference in the community, so it reflected that.

Then there was the fun part…… the wrestling stuff in the background. Ya I saw the “camp” belt LOL. If you know me, you know wrestling promotion and creative work are a big side passion of mine. Running wrestling video game tournaments, building storylines, and helping wrestling characters shine takes a lot of time and energy. ChatGPT connected those dots and added a wrestling ring and championship elements into the image. It basically showed both sides of my life firefighter and creative promoter.

Even small details had meaning. The coffee mug in the picture joked about leadership fuel. Anyone who works long firehouse shifts knows coffee is part of survival. It added humor without making things silly.

Looking at the whole thing, it felt less like a random cartoon and more like a summary of my life right now. Fire service, leadership, creativity, and personality all rolled into one picture.

That’s why I think this trend is blowing up. It’s not just about making a funny picture. It’s about seeing how technology pieces together the parts of your life you talk about and turns it into something visual.

So yeah, I had to jump on the trend. And honestly, I’m glad I did.
