You know, yesterday’s game was just plain disheartening. I was sitting down at work at the station yesterday and got to thinking….As a Falcons fan, I can tell you we came into this season hoping for something different, maybe even a turnaround that we’ve been waiting for. Instead, here we are staring down five straight losses and what feels like the end of any playoff hopes. It’s incredibly frustrating.
I’m not out here to blame it all on the head coach. I think Raheem Morris and the coaching staff have genuinely tried to make changes. They’ve improved in some areas, but it’s hard to stay optimistic when you’re seeing the same pattern repeat. Maybe it’s not just a coaching issue. We have fired many of those…maybe it’s an organizational one. We’ve swapped coaches, we’ve changed strategies, and yet here we are. At some point, you start wondering if we need a change in the front office, not just on the sidelines. New GM, New President? Hmm
This season feels like a total disaster. We’ve had quarterback issues, kicker issues, and a lot of moments where you just have to ask, “How did we not see this coming and fix it earlier?” We invested a lot in guys like Kirk Cousins, and it just hasn’t panned out. Even if we win a couple of games at the end, it’s hard to shake off the feeling that we never really looked like a cohesive team.
In the end, it’s just my perspective, but I think a lot of us are feeling the same way. We need stability and a real plan. Otherwise, we’ll just keep spinning our wheels. I’m at a lost of words honestly…
